Residential

Objective

The objective of this project is to develop an understanding of the residential interior design process through designing a single room from initial concept to final render.

Concept

Divided by a cased opening, this kitchen prioritizes functionality and flow of space while the breakfast nook brings a sense of comfort and ease back into the space. The patterned flooring and rich wood trim coupled with the painted cabinets, brass and black hardware, and paneled appliances merge traditional and contemporary styles to create a space that is cohesive, comfortable, and homey.
